JCP&L residential customers get mail-in or online rebates on new ENERGY STAR appliances: $750 for a heat pump water heater, $100 to $300 for an electric clothes dryer, $100 to $150 for a clothes washer, $75 to $100 for a refrigerator, $40 for a dehumidifier and $30 for a room air conditioner.

How much you get
Per appliance: heat pump water heater $750; electric dryer $100 (ENERGY STAR) or $300 (ENERGY STAR Most Efficient); washer $100 or $150; refrigerator $75 or $100 (at least 7.75 cubic feet); dehumidifier $40; room air conditioner $30. The amount depends on which of these fits your install.

Eligibility
Do I qualify?
You need to meet all 3 of these.
You must be a New Jersey residential customer of JCP&L.
The appliance must be new and ENERGY STAR certified (or ENERGY STAR Most Efficient for the higher amounts). Refrigerators must be at least 7.75 cubic feet. Washer rebates require an electric water heater.
Mail-in rebates aren't available if you already got an instant discount at Lowe's or The Home Depot.

How to apply
Equipment purchased and installed January 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027; apply within 90 days of purchase.
- Buy a new ENERGY STAR certified appliance.
- Apply within 90 days of purchase.
Submit online at energysaveNJ.com/products, email the form to energysaveNJ@clearesult.com, or mail it to the JCP&L Products Rebate Program in Lansing, MI.
- Attach the dated, itemized receipt.
- Receive a check.
Payment goes to the account holder at the mailing address on record; allow up to 30 days after all information is received.

Up to $1,500 back
JCP&L residential customers get mail-in rebates for ENERGY STAR heating and cooling equipment installed by a contractor: $500 to $1,000 for air-source heat pumps, $750 for ductless mini-splits, $1,500 for geothermal, $100 to $200 for central AC, plus $750 heat pump water heaters and $100 smart thermostats. Low- to moderate-income customers get $300 more per unit.
