South Jersey Gas homeowners can finance $2,500 to $25,000 at 0% APR, repaid on the gas bill over up to 7 years (10 years for income-qualified customers or larger Whole Home projects), for high-efficiency furnace and boiler upgrades and Whole Home Energy Solutions projects. No fees, closing costs or collateral.

How much you get
Unsecured 0% APR financing of $2,500 to $25,000 depending on the improvements, repaid on the gas bill. HVAC upgrades: 7 years, or 10 years for income-eligible customers. Whole Home Energy Solutions: 7 years for projects under $10,000 and 10 years for $10,000 to $25,000. No fees, points or closing costs and no prepayment penalty.

You get your utility service from South Jersey Gas (New Jersey).
All applicants must own the property and be on the deed, and at least one must be on the gas bill. The gas bill must stay in the owner's name until the balance is paid.
Residential single-family and duplex homes.
HVAC financing requires upgrading from a standard-efficiency non-condensing furnace or boiler to a high-efficiency condensing furnace or boiler.
All installations must be completed by a South Jersey Gas Participating Contractor.

Follow these steps.
- Choose a participating contractor and qualifying upgrade.
- Apply online through Energy Finance Solutions, or print and mail or fax the credit application.
Include a recent utility bill and your utility account number.
- For the 10-year term, submit income documentation for all household members.
- Repay at 0% APR on your monthly gas bill.

South Jersey Gas HVAC and Water Heating Rebates
Up to $1,750 back
South Jersey Gas residential customers get rebates of $400 to $1,750 for replacing a non-condensing gas furnace or boiler with a condensing model and for efficient gas water heaters, plus $100 smart thermostats and, through SJG, $100 to $200 for a central AC paired with a gas rebate. Low- and moderate-income customers get $300 more per piece of equipment.

Up to $7,500
South Jersey Gas customers who heat with gas can get $2,000 plus $200 for each percentage point of modeled energy savings above 5%, up to $7,500 and no more than half the cost, for whole-home insulation, air sealing and equipment upgrades done by a participating BPI contractor. 0% APR on-bill financing up to $25,000 is available.
