How much you get

0% APR financing up to $25,000, net of NJNG rebates, repaid on the NJNG bill over seven years, or up to 10 years for income-qualified customers. Example from NJNG: $25,000 over 10 years is 119 payments of $208.34 and one final payment of $207.54.

Eligibility

Do I qualify?

You need to meet all 4 of these.

  • Must be an NJNG customer. If you're converting to natural gas and aren't a customer yet, provide 12 months of your current utility bills.

    What to doIf converting to NJNG gas, include 12 months of your current utility bills with the application.

  • No more than two 30-day late payments on your NJNG bill in the last 12 months, and no bankruptcy in the past seven years.

  • Provide proof of ownership of the property. Renters' landlords must submit proof of ownership and approve the project.

  • Not available for new construction.

Applying

How to apply

You apply online. Offer applies to qualifying equipment purchased and installed by June 30, 2027.

  1. Pick the application for your project.

    HVAC and water heating, or Whole Home Energy Solutions.

  2. Complete the DocuSign OBRP application.

    If two people are primary account holders, list the second as joint applicant.

  3. Attach a government-issued ID and proof of ownership.
  4. Allow about 48 hours for processing.

    Up to $4,000 back

    New Jersey Natural Gas customers get rebates for replacing a non-condensing furnace or boiler with a condensing model (up to $900 furnace, $1,750 combi boiler), for efficient water heaters (up to $750), and for AC and heat pumps bought with new gas equipment, including up to $4,000 for two-zone hybrid heat. Income-qualified customers get $300 more per piece.
