$100 home energy assessment, then rebates up to $10,000 for insulation, air sealing and other upgrades, or up to $15,000 when you switch gas, oil or propane heating or water heating to electric.

How much you get
Based on energy savings achieved: up to $10,000 for eligible upgrades, up to $15,000 for eligible electrification upgrades. Assessment $100 for homes up to 3,000 sq ft with one combustion appliance zone (may cost more otherwise).

How to apply
Your contractor applies for you. Your contractor must reserve the rebates (approved scope of work) and submit the completed project application by December 31, 2026; work must be done within 90 days of the reservation approval. Later projects wait on a Maryland PSC decision.

- Review the report and recommended upgrades with rebate amounts.
- Contractor completes the work; rebate is based on savings achieved.
