How much you get
The contractor does the work and you pay a set share: about $250 (Tier 1) or $500 (Tier 2) or $750 (Tiers 3 and 4) for work valued at $5,000, $7,500, $10,000 or $15,000. The amount depends on which of these fits your install.

How to apply
You apply online. Your contractor must reserve the work (approved scope of work) and submit the completed project application by December 31, 2026; work must be done within 90 days of the reservation approval. Later projects wait on a Maryland PSC decision.
