Bill credits for letting the utility briefly cycle your AC or heat pump on a few hot days: a free device plus up to $160 in credits, or up to $40 a year for an eligible smart thermostat you already own.

How much you get
With a Pepco-provided device, per installed device by cycling level: a one-time Installation Credit plus a reward credit for each summer you take part ($40 + $40 at 50%, $60 + $60 at 75%, $80 + $80 at 100%), paid on June-October bills. The amount depends on which of these fits your install.
