Do I qualify?
You need to meet all 3 of these.
Active Ameren Illinois account. All borrowers must be listed on the bill and everyone on the bill must be a borrower; for rentals the account must be in the owner's name.
Owner-occupied or tenant-occupied single-family (1 to 4 unit) homes, condominiums and mobile homes.
Work must be done by an authorized Slipstream EFS contractor; Ameren program staff confirm your Program Ally and project eligibility first.

Get approved before you buy anything.
- Confirm your Program Ally and eligibility.
Ameren Illinois program staff confirm your preferred or assigned Program Ally, your intent to proceed and your eligibility for On-Bill Financing.
- Home Energy Assessment.
The Program Ally schedules an assessment to confirm the project qualifies.
- Apply for the loan.
Apply online, print and mail or fax the PDF application to Slipstream EFS, or call 877.923.2665 for a packet. Send the supporting documents.
- Approval and installation.
Program staff contact you about approval; Ameren Illinois pays the out-of-pocket cost upfront.
- Repay on your bill.
Monthly loan payments, with interest, appear on your Ameren Illinois bill.
