- Thermostats
New thermostat on TEP's eligible thermostat list (ecobee, Emerson Sensi, Honeywell, Google Nest, Alarm.com and Lux models listed on the page), connected by Wi-Fi to your cooling system and TEP account.
Applying
How to apply
You apply online. The thermostat must be bought and installed during 2024-2026.
- Buy and install an eligible smart thermostat.
Check the model against TEP's eligible list first.
- Sign into the thermostat's account and connect it to Wi-Fi.
- Complete TEP's rebate application form.
- Receive the credit.
The credit appears on your TEP account within two billing cycles.

TEP customers with a qualifying smart thermostat get a $50 prepaid Visa for enrolling in Smart Rewards, plus $40 per thermostat each season they stay enrolled through September 30, for letting TEP adjust the thermostat on peak summer days.
