One incentive payment of $500 per customer toward the purchase price or installation cost of a replacement or upgraded furnace.

Eligibility

Do I qualify?

You need to meet all 3 of these.

  • Lake Placid Municipal Electric customer; the equipment must be installed in its service territory.

  • Replaces or upgrades an existing furnace. Electric heating units of any type are excluded.

  • One incentive payment per customer.

Applying

How to apply

You apply by mail.

  1. Replace or upgrade your furnace.
  2. Fill out the Furnace Replacement form.
  3. Mail it to the IEEP.

    Include the dated sales receipt or installation contract with proof of payment and a recent Lake Placid electric bill. Mail to IEEP Rebate Program, P.O. Box 2489, Syracuse, NY 13220-2489, not with your utility bill.

  4. Receive the $500 payment.
