  • Weatherization upgrades (insulation, air sealing) need electric heat. A smart thermostat needs electric heat or central cooling, a compatible HVAC system and working Wi-Fi.

How to apply

Follow these steps.

  2. Schedule a free assessment.

    Online (sign in to your AES Indiana account) or call 866-908-4915. You can choose an in-home or a virtual assessment.

  3. Get products installed during the visit.

    An energy advisor installs free energy-efficient products and recommends upgrades.

  4. Get weatherization work done.

    If the assessment finds a need for insulation or air sealing, AES Indiana connects you with a Quality Contractor Network member who does it at no cost.
