Naperville Electric Utility residential customers get up to $2,500, at $1 per square foot or half the cost, for insulating the attic to R-49 and air sealing it.

How much you get
$1 per square foot of attic insulation installed or 50% of eligible cost, whichever is less, up to $2,500. One incentive per household.

You need to meet all 4 of these.
Residential customer of the City of Naperville Electric Utility; the owners or renters of the residence are eligible.
You must be contributing to Naperville's Renewable Energy Program when you apply and keep contributing at least $5 a month for 5 years after the award.

Attic insulation brought to at least R-49 (about 15 inches) plus attic air sealing. Living-space attic only, not garage attic.
