Do I qualify?
You need to meet all 4 of these.
Coles-Moultrie Electric Cooperative member receiving service at the home.
One Energy Efficiency & Conservation rebate per calendar year; can't be combined with other co-op rebates.
You must document how the purchase saves electricity; small appliances don't qualify.
What to doInclude R-values, SEER or ENERGY STAR details and itemized receipts with the form.
Mobile homes qualify only if it's the member's permanent residence and the member owns it.

How to apply
Follow these steps.
- Buy or complete the project in 2026.
- Fill out the 2026 Energy Efficiency and Conservation Rebate form.
Describe the project and how it saves electricity.
- Email it to info@cmec.coop, drop it off at 104 Dewitt Ave East, Mattoon, or mail to PO Box 709, Mattoon, IL 61938.
Attach itemized invoices or receipts.
- Receive a check or Visa gift card.
The co-op may take up to 180 days to decide.
