How much you get
Standard rebate by vehicle type: $700 for a new all-electric vehicle, $500 for a used one and $500 for a plug-in hybrid, new or used, when the vehicle is eligible for Stowe Electric's Connected Homes program; $350 for any of them when it is not. The amount depends on which of these fits your install.

How to apply
Follow these steps.
- Buy or lease a new or used EV or plug-in hybrid.
- Register it in Vermont (Lamoille County).
- Fill out the 2026 Electric Vehicle Incentive form (or the Income Eligible form).
Send it with proof of purchase or lease and proof of registration to rebates@stoweelectric.com; apply within 30 days of purchase if you can, since funds are limited.
- Optional: enroll a compatible EV in Connected Homes.
Uses a separate form for the enrollment incentive.
- Receive payment.
Within 30 days of a complete application.
