See Ya' Later Refrigerator recycling (UAMPS Smart Energy)
Run by UAMPS Smart Energy (Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems)
Customers of participating UAMPS city power systems (Mt. Pleasant, Kaysville, Hyrum and Brigham City) can have up to two working old refrigerators or freezers picked up and recycled for free and get $30 cash back, booked through UAMPS.

$30 cash back plus free pickup and recycling; a check is mailed six to eight weeks after collection.
Eligibility
Do I qualify?
You need to meet all 4 of these.
Residential electric customer of a participating UAMPS member power system. Rocky Mountain Power customers don't qualify.
You must own the refrigerator or freezer.
Working refrigerator or freezer of at least 10 cubic feet measured inside, emptied before pickup. Limit two per address.
The pickup must be booked through UAMPS. Pickups arranged directly with the recycler (1-800-GOT-JUNK) aren't approved for the rebate.

Follow these steps.
- Submit the application.
Online, or return the paper form to the Mt. Pleasant City Office or mail it to UAMPS Smart Energy, 155 North 400 West, Suite 480, Salt Lake City, UT 84103.
- UAMPS contacts you to set a pickup date and time.
- Empty the unit before it is collected.
- Receive a check.
Mailed six to eight weeks after collection.
