Eligibility
Do I qualify?
You need to meet all 5 of these.
Residential customer served by Heber Light & Power.
Most HVAC rebates are for existing homes only, not new construction. Smart thermostats, whole house fans and heat tape timers also qualify in new homes.
HVAC equipment must be installed by a qualified HVAC contractor; heat pump water heaters by a plumbing contractor; ceiling fans and heat tape timers by an electrical contractor. Whole house fans may be self-installed.
What to doHire a qualified licensed contractor for the installation. Get a quote from a contractor
Heat pump conversion, ductless and ground source rebates require that the old primary heat was a permanently installed electric resistance system. Gas, wood, pellet and propane conversions don't qualify for air source heat pump rebates; dual fuel rebates are for the same fuel as before (gas to gas, electric to electric).
One unit per home for most HVAC measures; more may qualify with approval.
