Amounts

How much you get

A loan, not a rebate: $1,500 to $25,000, with a 5, 10 or 15 year term, repaid monthly by check or ACH. Loans over $13,000 must have a payback period under 15 years. The interest rate depends on household income and location (NYSERDA's rate estimator) and is set after a credit review. If you sell the home you stay responsible for the balance.
