PSE&G electric customers can enroll a smart thermostat, electric vehicle or Wi-Fi electric water heater in FlexPower and earn up to $50 for enrolling plus $25 for each year they take part in occasional summer peak events.

Do I qualify?
You need to meet all 2 of these.
PSE&G New Jersey residential electric customer.
A compatible smart thermostat controlling a central air conditioner on always-on Wi-Fi, a compatible electric vehicle, or a Wi-Fi-connected EV charger or electric tank water heater.
What to doGet a compatible smart thermostat (for example through the PSE&G Marketplace) and connect it to Wi-Fi, or enroll a compatible EV.

- Choose your device brand on the FlexPower site and enroll.
- Get notified before each Flex Hours Event.
Events run June 1 to Oct. 31, weekdays 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; you can opt out of any event.

PSE&G Appliance Rebates Program
Up to $750 back
PSE&G residential customers can claim a mail-in check after buying qualifying equipment from any retailer: $750 for a heat pump water heater, $500 tankless or $400 gas storage water heater, $250 induction cooktop, up to $300 electric dryer, $100 washer, up to $100 refrigerator or smart thermostat, $30 dishwasher, $25 freezer.
