You need to meet all 2 of these.
You must receive electric service from JOEMC in your home.
Must replace an existing electric water heater in the same house; the old unit must be disconnected and removed. Units over 55 gallons don't qualify.

ENERGY STAR certified heat pump water heater, 55 gallons or less.
Applying
How to apply
You apply online. Send it within 3 months of buying.
- Install the heat pump water heater and remove the old electric water heater.
- Apply online within 90 days of installation.
Upload the receipt or invoice and the yellow EnergyGuide label.
- Rebate credited to your account.
Allow 4-6 weeks.
