Free pickup of an old working fridge, freezer or dehumidifier plus a $25-$50 check. Schedule by November 6, 2026, the last 2026 pickup request date; dehumidifiers earn $50 until then.

How much you get
$50 per working refrigerator or freezer (10-30 cu ft); $25 per dehumidifier, room AC or mini fridge (AC and mini fridge only alongside a larger unit). The amount depends on which of these fits your install.

Do I qualify?
You need to meet all 2 of these.
BGE residential electric customer with a valid account; you must own the appliance.
Units must be working, clean, defrosted, and free of mold. Up to three large and four small units per household from 2024 through 2026.

- Prepare the unit (cleaned out, defrosted, water line disconnected).
