Natural Gas Efficiency Incentives (JCE Co-op)

JCE Co-op natural gas members get a $125 bill credit for a 95% AFUE gas furnace or boiler and $50 for an efficient gas water heater or other new gas appliance installed in 2026.

How much you get
$125 per 95% AFUE furnace or boiler; $50 per gas water heater; $50 per other gas appliance. The amount depends on which of these fits your install.

Eligibility
Do I qualify?
You need to meet all 2 of these.
JCE Co-op natural gas member receiving service at the home.
One incentive per appliance or unit within a 5-year period.
Equipment
What equipment counts
The program sets these minimums for furnaces, ac and thermostats and water heaters.
- Furnaces
AFUE ≥ 95%.
- Water heaters
Gas water heater UEF ≥ 0.67.
Applying
How to apply
You apply by mail. Within 3 months of purchase or installation, and no later than December 22, 2026.
- Buy and install qualifying equipment in 2026.
- Fill out the 2026 Natural Gas Efficiency incentive form.
Attach your receipt or invoice (and AHRI number where the form asks).
- Mail it to JCE Co-op within 3 months.

- Receive a bill credit in 3-5 weeks.
