Amounts

How much you get

Paid per ton of cooling capacity and varies by system size, type and customer type. The web page says rebates begin at $200 per ton; the residential application's terms (effective November 1, 2012) list $300 per ton for air source heat pumps and $500 per ton for new geothermal installations that need a new well field. Paid as a bill credit; amounts of $1,000 or more can be paid by check on request.
