Do I qualify?
You need to meet all 3 of these.
SMUD residential customer.
Someone in the home uses qualifying medical equipment: in-home dialysis cycler, electric wheelchair, oxygen concentrator, ventilator (not CPAP or BIPAP), or has extraordinary heating or air-conditioning needs due to a medical condition.
A qualified health professional must complete and sign section 4 of the application.

Up to $105 a month
SMUD residential customers with household income up to 200% of the federal poverty level get a monthly bill discount of up to $105 (lowest incomes), $42, $20 or $10, depending on income. Apply online through My Account or by mail.
