Eligibility

Do I qualify?

You need to meet all 3 of these.

  • MID residential electric customer with the equipment installed at an address in MID's service territory.

  • Central systems under 65,000 BTU (5.4 ton) with a current AHRI reference number; split systems need a matching evaporative coil. Efficiency tiers: central AC and heat pump SEER > 15 / SEER2 > 14.3 (heat pump HSPF 8.0-8.1); high efficiency SEER > 18 / SEER2 > 16.9 (heat pump HSPF 8.1-8.9). Mini-splits ENERGY STAR, SEER > 15 and HSPF >= 9.0, replacing an inefficient mini split or electric baseboard/space heater. Whole house fans need air conditioning in the home.
