SRP Cool Roof Rebate (Salt River Project)

SRP residential customers get 30 cents per square foot, up to $600, for CRRC-rated cool roof coating on a low-slope roof, installed by a contractor or themselves.

30 cents per square foot of installed cool roofing material, up to $600.
Eligibility
Do I qualify?
You need to meet all 3 of these.
Permanent SRP residential electric customer.
Single-family detached or attached home, or mobile home/apartment/condo. New construction doesn't qualify.
Low-sloped roof of 2:12 pitch or less over living space (not garages or patios), on a home cooled by central or mini-split refrigerated AC or evaporative cooling.
Equipment
What equipment counts
The program sets these minimums.
CRRC-rated with a 3-year SRI of at least 86, or initial solar reflectance of at least .83, or 3-year solar reflectance of at least .70; minimum seven-year warranty.
Applying
How to apply
Within 6 months of installation; install by April 30, 2027.
- Pick a CRRC-rated cool roof product that meets the specs.
- Install it yourself or with a licensed contractor.
If a contractor installs it, have them sign the Contractor Terms and Conditions agreement.
- Apply within 6 months of installation.
Apply online through SRP's Rebate Center, or email the dated paid invoice, a completed application and (if used) the signed contractor agreement to srpinfo@elaz.org.
